Classes
During a four term year we offer three classes
a week for those who wish to explore their creativity through sculpture. Two morning classes are available on Monday and Tuesday 9.30 am - 12.30 pm and one evening class, Tuesday 7pm -
9pm. At times other courses such as bronze casting are run in conjuction with our local foundry, and a selection of sculpture - related weekend courses may be offered during the year.
Sculpture is both challenging and a lot of fun,
with a wide range of expressive possibilities. Experience is not necessary and you will be enabled to work at your own pace and level. Materials such as clay, plaster, wax, plaster bandage, wire, hebel and limestone may be used. Modelling, construction and carving are offered and processes such as creating armatures,
mould-making and casting are taught. If you
wish to have fun and experience a creative,
supportive environment, this is the place for you!
